Message: There is not enough space to write what Marilyn meant to the entire Goggans family. She was the definition of a true friend. In fact, Marilyn was family. In happy times, Marilyn was there to celebrate along side of us. In sad times, she was always one of the first to arrive, offer a hug and make us smile again. Most importantly, Marilyn was there in all the days in between. When our mom passed away, Marilyn was there through her final days and she kept in touch even through her final days. Marilyn would call to share a story about Sarah or Catherine, text a photo or send a joke. She was always there for us. Our world is a little emptier and phones will be a little quieter, but we will never forget Marilyn Watt and what a presence she was in our lives. We loved her and she loved us so well.

Message: Howard, Sunny, Gordon and John, I extend my condolences to each of you. Marilyn and I shared many secrets, dreams, wishes and Sonic foot long hotdogs. Our time together was precious to me and she certainly kept me on my toes. Her humor and wit were unmatched as were her teaching skills. She taught both of our children and they loved her as a teacher and later as a friend. I grieved when she retired and was thankful we could continue to visit by phone calls. Her love for the four of you, Sarah and Catherine was never ending and she loved telling me stories about each of you when you were growing up and as young adults. When one of you hurt, she hurt but her favorite thing to do was to brag about each of you. She will always be in my heart and I can still hear her voice in my mind. Her words of wisdom and wit will be with me forever. I loved my friend, Marilyn. I have you all in my prayers as you go through your grief. ❤️
