Message: A man who became like a father to me during my days in the Trucking business has gone to be with the Lord. He along with many who worked for him became like family to me. He bought many trucks from me during our history together. He gave me my first opportunity to duck hunt at his club in Stuttgart. He would give me the hardest time over my truck pricing but never once did he treat me unfair. He like my father grew up with nothing and worked hard for what they had. When they shook your hand, the deal was done. He taught me what it was to honor my word and make things right no matter what the cost. I could go on and on but this I know, He was a shrewd businessman with integrity. Mr. Harold Ives, my hat is tipped to you and Thank you for being my friend.

Message: Harold will be missed! I have known Harold Sinse 1970 when I drove a truck for him and we have been friends ever since then. I have nothing but good memories and good things to say about Harold he was good person and a fair person and all ways the same wherever you seen him . I haven't seen Harold in a few years but I have kept a close check on him and now he's in peace. I learned a lot from Harold and hope to see him again on the other side he will be missed.

Message: G'day from New Zealand. I worked Mr Ives as a driver for almost 2 years, then the visa expired and I had to leave. I had a great time and learnt a lot. Many thanks to Mr Ives for giving me the opportunity to see the US via an 18 wheeler. My condolences to his family.
