Tommy Lee Wood Sr., 81, of Stuttgart passed away Monday, August 12, 2019, at Baptist Health-Little Rock.
Tommy was born April 23, 1938, in Humphrey, Arkansas to James Clark and Lilly Sanders Wood. He was a welder at Riceland Machine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ella Mae Gaydos, Cecil Green, Maude Ellen Warden, and Arthur Hollis Wood; sister-in-law, June Wood; and brother-in-law, Calvin Warden.
Survivors are his daughter, Teresa Ann Wood Duncan of Stuttgart; sons, Tommy “Rusty” Lee Wood, Jr. (Gina) of Stuttgart and Steven Clark Wood of Stuttgart; brothers, J.C. Wood of Pine Bluff and Joe Wood (Louise) of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren, Wayne Duncan, Tommy Duncan, Charles Duncan, James Michael Wood, Emily Wood Karr, Joshua Vest and Coty Wood; seven great-grandchildren, Piper, Dylan, Dagan, Lauren, Cole, Everleigh and Denver; numerous nieces and nephews including Shelia Bednar (Larry) and Brent Warden (Barbara); and many family, friends and loved ones.
His family offers heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kevin Heifner, Dr. Eddy Hord and Dr. Ryan Hall for all their care over the years.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home chapel with visitation one hour before. Burial will be in Flynn Cemetery.
