Marie Sutton Powers, 88, of Casscoe passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020, at Cavalier Nursing Home in England.
Mrs. Powers were born April 13, 1931, in Lake Village, Ark. She worked several years at Stuttgart Shoe Factory and retired as quality controller from Lennox Industries. She enjoyed fishing and gardening, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She was a member of Hunter’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floyd Sutton; her second husband, R.H. Powers; brothers, Ray, Lowell, Frank and Hughey; and sisters Zetta and Ruby.
Survivors are her daughter, Virginia Hahs of Casscoe; two grandchildren, Lisa (Kevin) Kyzer of Fort Walton, Fla., and Guy (Mandie) Hahs of Colorado Springs, Colo.; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Caleb and Dru; step-daughter, Jeffey (Roger) Hyatt of Rison; step-grandchildren, Chris and Summer and their families; brother, Jimmy Cossey of Little Rock; and sister, Maxine Hurt of Houston.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation services were offered through Turpin Funeral Home.
