Julia Beatrice Leder, 88, of Stuttgart, widow of Howard John Leder, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Briarwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Little Rock.
Mrs. Leder was born July 3, 1931, in Ulm to Adolph and Matilda Duensing Hesse. She was a 21-year employee of Sears, was a Master Gardner and member of Martha Society of Ulm and Zion Lutheran Church.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jerry Brown; brother, Melvin Hesse; and two sisters, Alice Dobbs and Helen Grace Stinson.
Survivors are her four children, Ruth Brown of Sherwood, Fred (Nila) Leder of Ulm, Jane (Allen) Dickson of Stuttgart and Sam (Stacey) Leder of White Hall; one sister, Dorothy Clayton of Tollville; six grandchildren, Kyle (Robyn) Brown, Bailey (Jessica) Dickson, Phillip (Heather) Leder, Ellen Stephens, Caleb (Heather) Dickson and Sara Leder; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Briarwood Nursing and Rehab Center for the care and kindness given to their mother.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
