  Margarette Lavern Krisell Jackson

 

Margarette Lavern Krisell JacksonMargarette Lavern Krisell Jackson, 96, of Humphrey, widow of R.L. Jackson, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart.

Mrs. Jackson was born October 31, 1919, in England to Dave Lindsey Krisell and Willie Franklin Noland Krisell. She was a graduate of England High School and retired as a sterile supply clerk at Stuttgart Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Humphrey Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Bruce Jones; brother, Wilborn Krisell; and sisters, Florence Camp and Maxine Curton.

Survivors are her children, the Rev. Robbie Jackson and wife Laura of Clarksville, Ark., and Janice Ray and husband Thornton of El Dorado, Ark.; brother, Walton Krisell and wife Ella Mae of Stuttgart; sisters, Edith Curton and Betty Dabbs of Humphrey; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services, officiated by the Rev. Robbie Jackson and the Rev. Tommy Camp, at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Humphrey Baptist Church with burial following in Lone Tree Cemetery.

Visitation is 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart.
