  Sandra Rose Brasko

Sandra Rose Brasko of Stuttgart passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at 9:25 a.m. in her family’s home at the age of 51.

Sandra was born October 5, 1965, in Stuttgart to George and Aileen Ronner Brasko. Sandra’s childhood and teen years were happy ones, but not without struggle. As a toddler Sandra overcame childhood leukemia, and as a teen she survived a brain aneurysm that left her partially paralyzed. But Sandra persevered through her handicap. She relearned how to walk and do many of the activities she loved like horseback riding and drawing. She graduated DeVall’s Bluff High School class of 1984 and later worked at the Stuttgart Job Center.

Sandra is survived by her mother and father, George and Aileen Brasko; sisters, Linda Hall and Mary Anne (Bill) Morrow; brother, Eddie (Perryne) Brasko; niece, Maryrose Hall (David Lins); nephew, Daniel Hall; uncle, William (Paula) Brasko; and her long-time caregiver of 10 years, Mae Jane Addison.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Pauline Earlywine and Jane C. Ronner; aunt, Pat Brasko; and brother-in-law, Danny Hall.

The family would like to thank Mae Jane Addison for her decade of loving service to Sandra’s daily care, and Baptist Health Hospice for their assistance.

Sandra’s funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, November 23, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Stuttgart. The rosary will be said at 1:30 p.m. just before Mass. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a gift in Sandra’s memory to Holy Rosary Catholic School 920 W. 19th St., Stuttgart, Ark. 72160.
