Lee Flanery, 85, of Stuttgart passed away Monday, January 30,
2017, at Chambers Nursing Home in Carlisle.
Mr. Flanery was born July 25, 1931, in Humnoke to Dempsey and
Nell Gollher Flanery. He graduated from Humphrey High School and
attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was a
construction/engineering supervisor and an Army veteran of the

Betty Sue Flanery; three sisters; one brother; great-grandson,
Survivors are his wife, Anna Belle Wicklund Flanery; children,
Harold Flanery (Carolyn) of Sunnyvale, Texas, and LaDonna
Flanery of Mesquite, Texas; step-children, David Williams
(Marty) of DeValls Bluff and Deborah Ahrens (Curtis) of
Stuttgart; brother, David Flanery of Mesquite; two
half-brothers, Charles Flanery (Shonda) of Henderson, Texas, and
Dempsey Flanery (Denise) of Shreveport, La.; seven
grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Jackie Richardson, are 2:00
p.m. Thursday at Turpin Funeral Home with visitation one hour
before the service. Burial will be in Texas.
