Shaun Michael HinzeShaun Michael Hinze, 37, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, at his home.

Shaun was born October 9, 1979, in Stuttgart. He was a 1997 graduate of Stuttgart High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was employed in sales and was a Catholic. Shaun loved the beach and had a passion for cooking.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mildred Plafcan Hinze, Victor Hinze and Clarence “Stud” South.

Survivors include his parents, Michael (Sherry) Hinze of Hot Springs and Wendy South Lindley of Stuttgart; sister, Tami (Michael) Hartley of Stuttgart; step-sister, Sara (Dan) Hinze Holmes of Jonesboro; grandmother, Pauline South of Stuttgart; two nieces, Cassi Lynn Wilson of Humnoke and Jessi Shelton of Stuttgart; many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him; and his long-time fur companion, Parker.

Rosary will be said at 9:00 a.m. Monday followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Slovak. Burial will follow at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Turpin Funeral Home.
