Dotolynn J. Branch, 82, of Trimble, TN, passed away Wednesday,
May 10, 2017.
Dot was born May 27, 1934, in Stuttgart, AR, the daughter of
Clarence A. and Ethel Vaughn Mathews. She received her education
in Stuttgart, graduating from Stuttgart High School in 1952.
She was first married to James E. Smith to which three children
were born: Edwin Smith (Ruth Ann Randall) of Braddock Heights,
MD, Janice D. Smith of Jacksonville, AR and Sherri L. Smith
(Gorman) of Trimble, TN. After the death of her first husband,
she married Donald J. Branch.
Dot owned and operated Central Fish Market in Pine Bluff, AR for
30 years. She was an avid quilter. She was a member of Trinity
Lutheran Church in Dyersburg, TN. She was a loving grandmother
to two granddaughters, Emily and Ann Gorman of Trimble.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and
one brother, Orbra Mathews of Sebring, FL.
She is survived by her
three children and grandchildren, and a brother, Harold Mathews
of Pomona, MO.
Funeral services, officiated by Ray Vester, are 12 p.m. Saturday
at Turpin Funeral Home, Stuttgart, AR, with burial following in
Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart.
The family requests memorials be made to Pathfinder, Inc., P.O.
Box 647, Jacksonville, AR 72078, an organization that serves
individuals with developmental disabilities such as her
daughter, Janice Smith.
