Brenda Kay Hopkins, 57, of Stuttgart passed away Wednesday,
September 6, 2017, at UAMS in Little Rock.
Brenda was born December 23, 1959, in DeWitt to James Raymond
and Mildred Juanita McKinney Grissom who preceded her in death.
She was a Stuttgart High School graduate and was employed at
Lennox Industries. She could make the best banana pudding and
fried pork ribs and enjoyed cooking for her family and making
them happy. But above all, her grandchildren and
great-grandchildren were her world.
Survivors are her husband, Tom Hopkins; sons, Aaron Anderson of
Stuttgart and Mike Hopkins (Natalie) of Casscoe; daughters,
Sonya Mannis (Caroll) and Becky Baser (Andy) of Stuttgart, Tonya
Pitts (Nathan) of Cherry Valley and Pam Bogue (Kenneth) of
DeWitt; brothers, Larry Grissom (Mary) of Stuttgart and Jason
Grissom (LaDonna) of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, Zachary
Farrester, Brendan Baser, Cailyn Baser, Max Pitts, Jordon Pitts,
Brandon Hopkins, Brouse Frye and Carson, Harley and Carissa
Mannis; two great-grandchildren, Connor Farrester and Briggs
Farrester; and her buddy, Rocky.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Turpin Funeral Home
with burial following in Cedarcrest Cemetery in DeWitt.
Visitation is 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home.
