  Lucille Bowen Swan Young


Lucille Bowen Swan Young, 93, of Stuttgart passed away Friday, December 29, 2017, at Chambers Nursing Home in Carlisle.

Mrs. Young was born January 30, 1924, in Humphrey to Jim Walter and Maude Reeves Bowen. She was a LPN and member of Bayou Meto Assembly of God Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Norris Swan; her second husband, Jim Young; two children, Pat Maness and Ronnie Swan; grandchildren, Ella Swan and Todd Maness; a great-granddaughter, Ashley Caviness; brothers, Sterling Bowen, Richard Bowen, Pete Bowen, A.J. Bowen and Bill Bowen; and sisters, Maxine Bayless and Wanda Jo Voumard.

Survivors are four children, Judy (Patrick) Supine, Jimmy (Carolyn) North, Gina (Olga) Swan and Teresa (Ray) Jennings; one brothers, Jimmy Bowen; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Turpin Funeral Home with visitation one hour before.
