John David Raab

John David Raab, 36, of Stuttgart died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. He was born March 29, 1985 in Stuttgart, Ark., to Don Raab and Glenda Finley.

John David was self-employed and long-time member of Southside Baptist Church but recently joined First Baptist Church. He was a faithful member of Celebrate Recovery, RA’s and the bus ministry at Southside Baptist Church.

On Dec. 1, 2020, John David married his best friend and the love of his life, Tori. His eyes shined a little brighter when he was with her. David loved his friends and his family unconditionally, including his and Tori’s dog, Penny, and he never met a stranger. All John David ever wanted was for his loved ones to know Jesus and feel His love.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Quill and Edelle Raab; grandfather, Rodney Westfall; and uncle, John Dale Raab, and his best friend Tyler Bittle.

Survivors are his wife, Tori House Raab of Stuttgart; parents, Don Raab of Aberdeen and Glenda Finley of Stuttgart; two sisters, Kasa Green (Jarred) of Alexander and Debbie Raab of Stuttgart; grandmother, Gloria Westfall; two nephews, Westen and Rhett Green; and so many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will all miss him dearly.

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday with service following at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Lone Tree Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church Legacy Fund, 402 E. 19th St., Stuttgart, Ark. 72160 or Celebrate Recovery, 2115 S. Prairie St., Stuttgart, Ark. 72160.
