Bobby A. House

Bobby A. House, 87, of Stuttgart passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at Crestpark of Stuttgart.

Mr. House was born March 27, 1936, in Stuttgart to Marion and Ethel House. He was a 1953 graduate of Stuttgart High School and a veteran of the Army National Guard. He began his employment with the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier, was promoted to postmaster then later to Southeast District supervisor until his retirement after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Lucille; daughters Suzanne Bramlet and Leslie House; sister, Marilyn Cantrell; and brothers, Kelsie House, Eddie House and Wayne House.

Survivors are one son, Boyd House of Stuttgart; brothers, Kevin (Tammie) House of Thayer, Mo., and Troy (Sharon) House of Stuttgart; and sisters, Nancy Turner of Stuttgart and Debbie (Gary) Swan of Aberdeen.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Cremation services were offered through Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
