Doyne M. Munnerlyn

Doyne H. Munnerlyn, 79, of Humphrey passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Baptist Health-Little Rock.

Mr. Munnerlyn was born May 5, 1943, in Carlisle to Clyde and May mie Munnerlyn. He worked in maintenance at Riceland before becoming a truck driver and was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church. He was also a member of C. Gates Hunting Club and enjoyed fishing and hunting and was known as the “best story-teller”. He also enjoyed working in the flower garden.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bo Munnerlyn; and three sisters, Opal Cole, Gladys Merritt and Virginia Carter.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Linda Munnerlyn; three sons, Gary Munnerlyn and wife Laura of Hazen, Ricky Munnerlyn and wife Cindy of Humphrey and Darren Munnerlyn and wife Tonya of Humphrey; six grandchildren, Chelsea Katelman and husband Mike, Ashley Munnerlyn, Shelby Anderson and husband Alex, Sarah Neighbors, Nicole Pennington and husband Kyle and Erin Williams; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Munnerlyn would like to thank Dr. Chris Morgan and Dr. Hall for their care and compassion of her husband through his illness.

Visitation is 11 a.m. Saturday at Turpin Funeral Home followed by funeral services, officiated by Bro. Joe Lee Poss, at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery.
