Eunice Melkovitz

Eunice Melkovitz, 97, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Crestpark in Stuttgart.

Mrs. Melkovitz was born Nov. 25, 1925, in Almyra, Ark., to Wesley and Grace Graham. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Melkovitz Sr.; two granddaughters, Natalka Melkovitz Sullivan and Tonya Melkovitz Armstrong; two sisters, Florence Hicks and Gladys Robnett; four brothers, Marshall Graham, Bertrum Graham, Wesley Graham Sr. and Kenneth Graham; and great-grandson, Chris Melkovitz Jr.

Survivors are two sons, William Melkovitz (Carroll) of Ennis, Texas, and Joe B. Melkovitz Jr. (Myroslawa) of Stuttgart; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren and one on the way; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

Rosary will be said at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at Turpin Funeral Home with visitation following from 5:30-7p.m.

Funeral Mass, officiated by Father Baba Battula and Deacon Greg Fischer, is 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial following in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Slovak.
