Helen Lucille Tipton, 95, of Stuttgart passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024, at her home.
She was born on July 17, 1929, in Humphrey, Ark., to Homer and Jess Jane Bullock Rich. She was a beautician for 24 years and a farmer’s wife. She was a faithful member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Humphrey.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Chester Lee Tipton; three sister she loved dearly, Mary Weathington, Adell Hudson and Joyce Burlison.
She leaves behind three children, Larry Tipton of Leesburg, Fla., and Dianne (Herbert) Bevell and Trudy Howard of Stuttgart; grandchildren, Derrick Tipton of Greenbriar, Ark., Kimberly (Terry) Hicks of Beech Grove, Ark., Tonya (Earl) Sanders of Stuttgart, Amy (Jason) Whitney of Cabot, Ark., Debra (Byron) Cook of Stuttgart and Chasity (Brad) Bussard of Amanda, Ohio; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Terry Taylor, will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Frazier Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home of Stuttgart.
