James Henry Luebker

James Henry Luebker, 77, of Stuttgart passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at his home.

James was born Dec.17, 1944, in Stuttgart to Albert and Edris Diemer Luebker. He was a lifelong farmer and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Fairmount Ruritan, and previous member of Knights of Columbus.

James is remembered as a loving and hardworking man. He shared his wisdom and made a positive impact on many people. James wore many hats and was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, coworker and friend. He loved bass fishing, spending time in Mexico and dedicated his life to farming. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, hard work and famous margaritas.

Besides his parents, James was preceded in death by his daughter, Monica Lynne Luebker; sister, Patricia Collier; and father-in-law, Alton Fryer.

Survivors are his wife of 25 years, Debbie Luebker; son, Christopher Luebker (fiancé Jaime Lowe) of Dallas, Texas; stepson, Jake Fisher (wife Tiffany) of Hot Springs; stepdaughter, Natalie Fisher of Benton; brothers, Wayne Luebker (wife Mae Ann) of Fayetteville and David Luebker (wife Sylvia) of Little Rock; sister, Barbara McCarley (husband Robert) of Conway; five grandchildren, Elle Luebker, Dylan Luebker, Hannah Shows, Nohri Andrews and Sadie Branch; and mother-in-law, Louise Fryer of Stuttgart.

Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday at Turpin Funeral Home followed by a Rosary at 2:30 p.m.

The family requests memorials to Monica Luebker Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Central Arkansas at Conway or the donor’s choice.
