Johnie Taylor Page, 89, was called home to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ November 28, 2024. Johnie moved to Texas in 2011 to be closer to his children after his high school sweetheart and wife, Carol Sue Raab Page was called home in 2008. Before moving to Texas, he was a lifelong Stuttgart, Ark., resident.
After graduating from Stuttgart High School in 1954, Johnie and Carol Sue Raab got married. Shortly after, Johnie left for the Army for 4 years (stationed in Germany) followed by an enlistment into the Reserves.
Johnie and Carol Sue raised three children in Stuttgart - Scot Alan Page, Tracy Taylor Page, and Kimberly Page.
Johnie had several passions but the greatest of all of them was his love for his family and friends, and making new friends. Because of Johnie and Carol Sue’s mutual passion, our family is a very extended family and our strong bonds continue.
Johnie was funny, liked to cut up, and made folks feel at ease. Carol Sue said Johnie explained to her he wanted a house full of kids - he made it happen. He extended our family by including others in our lives.
Johnie was a great man, husband, father, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, grandfather, uncle, friend, patriot and Christian. He also loved sports such as baseball, football, basketball, hunting, fishing and camping.
Johnie’s immediate surviving family includes Tracy Taylor Page and his two children Colton and Caden; Kimberly Page and her husband Bobby Fackler; a sister, Dot Loggins; many nieces and nephews; and some very special friends (family).
The funeral will be held at Turpin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10 a.m. followed by a burial at Lone Tree Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to Carol Sue and his son Scot Alan Page.
