Kenneth Earl George

Kenneth Earl George, 62, of Stuttgart passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Baptist Health-Stuttgart.

Kenneth was born Nov. 17, 1960, to Earl Franklin and Linda Louise Wittman George. He was a 1979 graduate of Stuttgart High School and member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Kenneth, who was a football official for over 20 years, enjoyed all sports, going to the casino and the horse races, but his first love was farming. He was a former board member of Dana’s House.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Kimberly Brennan; and life partner, Lei Ann Holbert.

Survivors are his father, Earl George; sisters, Kathy Ellis and husband Jim Jr. of Fairhope, Alabama, and Kerry Knowlton of Rogers; niece and nephews, Will Knowlton, James Ellis III, Joseph Ellis and Brandi Knowlton; great-nephew, Gavin Carter; and special friend, Kimberly McGhee.

A memorial service, officiated by James Branson, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Turpin Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
