Kristy Steensma Walter

Kristy Amanda Steensma Walker, 45, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Kristy was born Aug. 10, 1978, in Jacksonville to Keith and Kathy Jones Steensma. She was a 1996 graduate of Jacksonville High School and previously worked for Bank of Little Rock and Knollmeyer Law Office as a paralegal. Kristy loved arts and crafts, specially making necklaces and bead bracelets. She could be considered a “shopaholic” by her collection of clothes, shoes and purses. She was very considerate, loved her family, Dr. Pepper and especially her boys, spoiling them when she could.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors are two sons, Dylan Swint and Dagen Swint, both of Stuttgart; her father, Keith Steensma of Jacksonville; and her sister, Kelly Arwine and husband Mike of Chicago, Ill.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Turpin Funeral Home.
