Leland really liked music and spent many happy hours practicing and performing. He played clarinet in the Stuttgart High School Band and saxophone in a small band that played for local dances. In his earlier years he sang tenor in the St John’s choir and was a member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America. Now, we pray he is singing in the heavenly choir.
