Norris Lynn Hutchens, 80, of Stuttgart passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2024, at his home. He was born Aug. 27, 1944, to William and Lucy Taylor Hutchens. He was born in DeValls Bluff and graduated from DeValls Bluff High School in 1963.
He was a decorated Army Vietnam veteran. Shortly after returning home from the military, he started working for Riceland Foods in Stuttgart in July 1967 and worked there until he retired.
In 1968 he married Barbara Blackwell, and they had two children, a son Michael (Hutch) Hutchens and daughter, Blake Hutchens Ross.
He was saved and baptized while attending West Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles; and two sisters, Linda Mathis (Forrest) and Kaye Cook (Rickey Don).
He is survived by brothers, Jimmy and William Hutchens; and sister, Pam Robinson. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by four grandchildren, Cassidy Watts, Sierra Hutchens, Hutch Ross and Berkley Hutchens.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no service.
