Sarah Louise Parker

Sarah Louise Parker, 89, of Stuttgart passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at her home.

Mrs. Parker was born Dec. 1, 1933, in DeValls Bluff to Oscar and Mary Lee Bartels. She was a registered nurse and also had obtained her real estate license. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and vacation Bible school and was actively involved in the Faith Team and Hope of the Delta.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Pich.

Survivors are her husband, Donny Parker; two daughters, Donna Renken and Dana Curtis (Jason Konency), all of Stuttgart; two sons, William Parker (Kirsten) of Redfield, Ark., and Jeffrey Parker of Ward, Ark.; and eight grandchildren, Chase Curtis, Jon Cameron Curtis, Callie Curtis Turner (Landon), Brentnee Tefteller, Meagan Parker, Teagen Parker, Gunner Parker and Lexi Parker.

Funeral services, officiated by Bro. Gregg Greenway, at 10 a.m. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church with burial following in Oakland Cemetery in DeValls Bluff.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday at Turpin Funeral Home.
