Walton Wayne Krisell, 70, of Cabot, Ark., passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Wayne was born on April 17, 1954, in Stuttgart, Ark., to Walton and Ella Mae Krisell. He attended Humphrey Elementary School until 1965 when the family moved to Stuttgart and Wayne became a Ricebird. Wayne was a 1972 graduate of Stuttgart High School. After high school, Wayne moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, and attended the University of Arkansas where he was an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE). Wayne continued throughout his life to be a passionate Razorback fan!! He was known for his huge smile and ready to join in the fun wherever he was.
Wayne was a Baptist and faithful attended McArthur Assembly of God Church in Jacksonville Ark., where he was actively involved in Bible studies and worship services regularly.
Wayne was well-known in the auto sales community in central Arkansas for over 40 years, working at some of the largest dealerships in the state. He was currently employed at Fletcher Tate Dodge where he was an automotive sales representative.
Survivors and joys of his life are his daughter Taylor, her husband Colton Burton and his grandsons Bayne (10) and Michael (2). He is also survived by his parents Walton and Ella Mae Krisell, his brother and
sister-in-law Ronnie and LeeAnn Krisell; brother Jimmy Krisell, all of Stuttgart; and loving nieces and nephews and a large extended family of cousins.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 3, at 1 p.m. at Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart, AR with visitation beginning at noon.
Memorials should be made to the American Cancer Society.
